Keep New Jersey Clean™ is a project dedicated to promoting environmental stewardship and community engagement through volunteer efforts aimed at keeping the streets of New Jersey clean. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers, raise awareness about littering and pollution, and create a cleaner, healthier environment for all residents and visitors.

Raychelle Jackson founded of Keep New Jersey Clean in March,2023. She was inspired while volunteering in Orlando, Florida to create a community cleaning platform for the residents of New Jersey. Hence “Keep New Jersey Clean was born!

In year one, Raychelle and husband Nate Jackson (co founder) have led more than 13 community clean ups and assisted in picking up more than 3,000 lbs of trash off of the streets of New Jersey! The couple enjoys the spontaneous conversations with members of the community thoroughout the state.

Mission Statement

To foster community involvement in maintaining the cleanliness of New Jersey’s streets and public spaces, while educating the public about the environmental impacts of littering. To promote sustainability through outreach and restoration.

Objectives

1. Mobilize Volunteers: Recruit and train volunteers to participate in regular clean-up events.

2. Community Engagement: Raise awareness of littering issues and the importance of cleanliness through workshops, events, and social media.

3. Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and government agencies to support clean-up initiatives.

4. Sustainability: Implement practices that ensure the long-term sustainability of our clean-up efforts.
